Frequently Asked Questions
What is the optimal length of time for a wedding charter in order to avoid our guests feeling rushed?
We recommend a 5 hour charter for onboard wedding/receptions. Our boarding for your guests begins 1/2 hour prior to scheduled departure. Pre-ceremony reception begins at boarding until ceremony. An average ceremony begins 15 minutes after departure and last for approximately 15 minutes. Congratulatory celebration last approximately 1 hour including Butler Passed Hors d’ oeuvres and Stationary Platters. Dinner last approximately 1.5 hours including toasts to the Bride and Groom leaving 2 additional hours for the Wedding Reception, First Dance, Cutting of the Cake.
How soon can our decorators/florist/DJ’s board for set up?
Vessel is available for decoration/Florist/DJ set up 2 hours prior to boarding time.
What time does guest boarding begin and is boarding part of the cruising time?
For our onboard Weddings/Receptions, guest boarding begins 1/2 prior to departure time. Charter begins at the scheduled departure time.
How early can the cake be delivered?
We recommend Wedding cakes be delivered to the vessel 1 hour prior to departure time.
Will there be a wedding coordinator on board during the charter?
There will be an event coordinator onboard throughout the charter to facilitate the evening.
Is there someplace to store my dress following the ceremony?
There is limited storage aboard the vessels, however if the gown is bagged for protection and storage, it can be stored during the Wedding Reception.

Can we do a wedding rehearsal onboard prior to the wedding?
Vessel can be rented for a Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding Rehearsal as a second charter the day/night prior. Otherwise there will be a quick staging/rehearsal in the dining area (lower deck) prior to the ceremony (upper deck).
Can we use real candles/sparklers/paper lanterns for the wedding?
In accordance with Fire Safety and Coast Guard Regulations, no open flames of any kind are allowed on the vessel or dock area adjacent to the vessel.
What does the Wedding Package consist of?
The Basic Wedding Package consist of Ceremony by Captain of the Vessel, Wedding Cake, DJ
Are there multiple levels for the Wedding Packages?
Additional Price Structures are available for Wedding Packages to include Chair Covers, Sashes, Table Runners, Colored Table Linens/Napkins.
Can we bring Entertainers/Quartet/Band onboard for the wedding?
Entertainers/Vendors/Small Group Bands/Outside DJ’s are welcomed. There is an outside vendor Fee.
What are the requirements for Outside DJ’s/Entertainers/Bands?
All outside vendors are required to provide proof of insurance with Company listed as additionally insured.
What are the limitations regarding decorating inside the vessel?
Light weight decorations must be able to be attached with non-residue adhesive strips. No nails or screws, hot glue or heavy duty tape, i.e. ducktape, may be used on the walls or ceilings. Ceiling height is 7 foot on all decks.
Balloons are allowed however must be helium, on strings and weighted. No loose or free floating balloons are allowed.
